Overall, this product is very robust, durable, well designed, and well made. Contrary to what some other reviewers claim, the instructions are simple and easy to understand if you actually READ them and LOOK at the diagrams. Moreover, the instructions clearly state (and show) that the product MUST be mounted PROPERLY with ALL 5 SCREWS drilled into a stud behind the drywall, or onto a wall of solid masonry. One cannot simply mount this item to drywall alone, as it is somewhat heavy. This item's ONLY drawback is that the cover is pretty cheap and does not fully fit as it should. In fact, we don't even use the cover. Other than that, my wife and I absolutely LOVE it, and although it is rather expensive, we both agree that we would buy another one if needed. We even plan on getting one for my wife's mother. This is a GREAT ironing board.

I recently remodeled my office/sewing/ironing room, which is rather small, and this seemed a perfect solution, rather than my old, ugly standard ironing board hanging on the wall. I am delighted with my new "disappearing" board-it is inconspicuous, and takes up very little room on the wall-I iron sitting down, and the board was easy to install at the right height, leaving me room to hang pictures above it, which would not have been possible with the type of board that is installed in the wall behind a door. I am very happy with this product, and would definitely recommend it!

I bought this ironing board to preserve floor space in our laundry room. It's very well-made, sturdy, and of good-quality. It was quite simple to install on a single wall-stud through dry-wall. Instructions were written pretty well--with the exception of one plastic piece that was not addressed in the instructions and involved a little guesswork.



The folding action of this board is very simple and quick and the board is fairly attractive when covered with the included plastic cover. The board comes with an iron holder and clothes hanger that ingeniously stows away with the board. The iron holder is of limited value because it requires that the user carefully place the iron on it--and any sloppiness in that action will cause the iron to fall. Regardless, I bought the board for the board--not the iron holder and I'm delighted with the functionality and quality workmanship of the board.

I have had "built in" ironing boards for the last 20 years in three different homes and was always a little disappointed by the reduced ironing surface, but was willing to give that up to save space. When we built our new house, I was determined to find a full sized built in ironing board. After researching for several weeks, I purchased the Lifestyle wall mounted ironing center and couldn't be more pleased. The ironing surface is great and it takes up so little space when stored. Great item!

I absolutely LOVE this neato invention! I live in a studio apartment in New York City and space is VERY tight. The full size board mounted easily to my concrete wall and has a very small profile allowing it to blend in seamlessly with my decor. Even after owning it for two years, I STILL get compliments on it, that is once people actually know what it is! Thank you for this marvelous creation!
