"Great concept but not durable" 2008-11-16

This retractable leash incorporates a bag system to make it one of the most convenient methods to walk your dog.
The leash system is easy to use. Pushing the release button allows you to control the distance that your dog can walk ahead of you. The handle has a rubber grip which is comfortable.
A small port that holds the bags for picking up your dog's messes, is convenient. However the 'holding hook' doesn't hold the 'filled bag' very well and frequently, after completing a walk, I have found the bag missing.
The durability leaves much to be desired. The spring loaded mechanism lasted only 10 months for me. Given the price, that is not acceptable.
I have switched to a conventional leash since this unit broke.
Conclusion:
The concept is great and the system is convenient. However, the durability makes this a less an average value. I don't recommend this item.

I chose this leash for one main reason - the integrated bag holder. I've had trouble in the past when the leash has fallen or gotten stepped on where the bag dispenser breaks or the ziptie holding the bag dispenser on breaks somehow. This one has been excellent because the bag dispenser is built in and easy to use with all types of doggy waste bags. I've used the PetSmart and Petco brand bags in this dispenser and they worked just fine as well. The flexi leash itself works great for my dog who's a 70 pound chocolate lab.

This is the first retracable leash I have bought, excellent quality and feel and I find it very easy to use - my 50lb dog feels like she is off leash and no tangled legs anymore. The best thing though, is having a space for the bags on the handle itself. I do not buy the bags that are sold to go in the dispenser, but find that I can fit about 5 bags that are provided by our local municipality as "mutt mitts" into the space provided on the leash handle - meaning that I am never caught empty handed . I really love this feature! (so do my nieghbors)

Welve enjoyed the BoB leashes for a few years now. Our 21 lb Scottie can pull like crazy when she gets interested in something and we have worn out three of these leashes in the past 5 years...not too bad for multiple walks every day over that time. BoB replaced one leash under warranty and included extra bags in the exchange...good customer service. Just about any similar bag will fit the holder...we look for the BoB bags on sale and try others from time to time...black bags are perhaps the most 'discreet' but some folks opt for colorful bags. If your dog is a 'puller' or just strong, I would recommend stepping up one weight 'classification' rating for the leash...the larger one fits my rather large hands better than the leash rated for our dog's weight...no real downside to stepping up(other than the larger size of the handle,reel).
It's nice to let 'Katie' have a little 'free rein' with the 16' cord...easier than trying to keep up with a fixed length leash when she wants to explore...no leash dragging on the ground. The 'brake' can set the leash length if you want to stop before the 16' runs out...quite thoughtful in design.
Might be a good gift for that neighbor who 'forgets' to bring bags on the walk around the block...always good to pick up after your pet!

After a couple of months, this thing started developing a downward dip right in the middle. Now it's almost unusable, although I keep applying steam to it and trying to straighten it out. Also, the iron holder should be vertical, the way it is it just encourages water to run all over the table. By the way, I saw it for about half price at Big Lots, they also had full size ones, but I figured why buy one of those, just more to lug to the trash.

Wish I would of found this ironing board years ago. Did my shirt ironing (12 shirts) in half the time. The surface is large, allowing for faster ironing. Also great to have a higher board, it is adjustable to different heights, so you guys can iron too without breaking your backs. The wrapping for shipping was light, but caused no problems. Not sure about the iron holder on the end, will have to see how it works out. I think a handy person with tools could remove it.

I ordered the Rowenta IB6100 after reading reviews. I wanted a very stable and well made board. The Rowenta was very heavily made, but extremely unstable on any floor surface.The factory bends for the base were obviously incorrect. The packing was very poor, not professional, and quite difficult to repack for return.

The stability of the ironing board is just great!!! I haven't quite mastered the opener on the right side yet. The left side has always been handier. The cover is illfitting. Wrinkles at the narrow end and is loose in the middle. I would have ordered another cover, but concerned that it wouldn't be any better. I do enjoy the wider middle of the board. And again the stability if the frame is exactly what I was looking for. I also appreciate the quick mailing and response time.
